Finance/finance transformation function
Must have been involved from a design perspective
Able to guide others in a team
Workday, Azure

Good Architect needed

With Recent: Finance Transformation ; Finance Systems Migration or any type of Finance/Actuarial related project experience needed

Workday Finance System

Kafka and/or Snowflake exp good to have

Any industry exp is fine, FS would be ideal

Responsibilities:

Create and build solutions within the finance, actuarial and risk systems environment.

  • Align architectural solutions with business vision and goals.
  • Work with stakeholders across the organization to collect requirements and convert them into system designs.
  • Document solution alternatives that will satisfy the requirements and governance frameworks, balancing the objectives and constraints of the solution.
  • Assess and propose new technologies and tools to enhance system performance and dependability.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to the development team.
  • Keep up with industry trends and best practices in system architecture.
  • Collaborate with product teams to comprehend product requirements and translate into technical solutions.
  • Partner with Change Delivery to ensure that the system or solution delivered is consistent with the agreed architecture and provides value to the stakeholders.
  • Work to resolve challenges and issues; identify and mitigate key technical risks.
  • Ensure solutions are aligned with the business and technology strategies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Demonstrated experience in a Solutions Architect role or similar position.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Workday, cloud services, MSA, and Snowflake.
  • Skills in ETL processes and tools
  • Knowledge of interface, networking, and data warehousing technologies.
  • Ability to design and implement solutions that work with legacy architecture.
