I am seeking a Accounts Assistant to join my client's growing finance team. The ideal candidate will be embarking on their career as an accountant, very likely having graduated this year with a relevant degree subject.
This position will offer a full training contract, including support for their studies in either ACCA or CIMA.
The role will involve training across the following areas:
- Cash allocation
- Petty cash requests
- Bank reconciliations
- Raising invoices / credit notes
- Liaising with stakeholders, both internal and external
- Processing invoices, supplier reconciliations and dealing with queries
- Preparing weekly payment runs
- Monthly journal postings
- Profit and loss review
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of yearly accounts for audit
This is a fantastic opportunity which will allow the individual to develop into more complex areas of finance as their skill base expands.
