Ada Meher is partnering with a SaaS company based in Sheffield who are looking for a Lead .NET Engineer, with strong experience in C#/.NET, to join their multi-disciplined & distributed engineering team working on their suite of financial services software products. They are in the process of modernising their existing codebase, with a view to then developing some new key features, and are looking for a candidate to Lead a small team to help realise this.
The successful candidate will be working on codebases which vary from VB.NET through to .NET Core (8) and Kubernetes – as well as a few stages in between. As such, they should be comfortable working on both legacy and modern .NET Web Applications, as well as prepared for the challenge of setting a multi-year strategy on how to bring the full system up to date. They will also be comfortable challenging the status quo and motivating a small team to change and improve processes and standards.

To Be Considered:
- Excellent experience in C#/.NET Engineering
- Experience with VB.NET, .NET Framework and .NET Core
- Strong experience with Testing strategies and other quality measures
- Knowledge of Cloud Deployments (ideally TeamCity / Azure DevOps)
- Experience working in an Agile environment
