Our Client, a Greater Manchester Local Authority, is seeking an Adults Social Worker to join its Community Team.

Payrate is £30p/h

Responsibilities of this role:

  • Main duties: assessments, reviews, care-planning, duty and capacity assessment.
  • To practice effectively, exercising high quality judgements in situations of increasing complexity, risk, uncertainty and challenge, acting with confidence and considerable autonomy whilst accessing and using support and advice.
  • To support and assist the provision of high-quality adult social care for older people and adults within national and local policy guidelines by assessing and meeting the care needs of adult citizens in the District.
  • To develop skills in evaluating the quality and impact (outcomes) of own practice and that of the team and service.

Requirements of this role:

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have experience in working with the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act. We are a Community Team who work with adults with learning disabilities.
  • Must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in social work, social work degree or equivalent)
  • Must have minimum of 2 years experience working as a Qualified social worker in a similar team
  • Must be a car driver, with access to own vehicle.
