Our client in the West Cornwall area is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join their growing company. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing bookkeeping tasks to complete clients' VAT returns and accounting requirements using software like Xero.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Perform weekly and monthly bookkeeping for various clients.
- Maintain client bookkeeping software (Xero).
- Keep client records up to date.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Liaise with clients to resolve bookkeeping and invoice questions.
- Support accountants with various tasks.
- Provide general administrative support.
Requirements:

Software Proficiency: Experience using Xero is essential; familiarity with QuickBooks and Dext is also ideal.
