Key Responsibilities
- Creating, deploying and managing the process for new product specifications
- Updating and managing the process for changes to product specifications for implemented pricing products
- Configuration of pricing products including the drafting of documents, development of user interfaces, workflow tools and broker portals
- Working with stakeholders to elicit, document, configure and test requirements
- Managing and maintaining the quality of data at each stage in the underwriting and reporting process
Skills and Experience
- Experience of configuring pricing products previously and/or experience of writing, testing and developing within in a programming language such as XML, C++, Python and R or similar would be equally useful.
- Ability to work with business stakeholders to translate and prioritise business requirements into technical solutions is highly desirable
- An understanding of technology in product development is highly desirable
- An understanding of full project lifecycle in a structured environment would be an advantage
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong writing skills to produce comprehensive and accurate documentation
- Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft technologies
- The role would be suitable for someone with a technical degree or background in computing or a STEM subject (Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
