Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Worksop area as they look to recruit an Assistant Accountant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Reporting into the Finance Manager, duties will include:
- Calculate quarterly intercompany recharges and monthly intercompany accruals
- Reconcile intercompany loans between the Group Treasury System and SAP
- Prepare management accounts for two companies
- Monthly reporting of results for two companies to the Group
- Process monthly reconciliation of intercompany accounts with external parties in a timely manner
- Complete budget and forecast templates
- Process general ledger accounting journals in SAP and the Group Treasury System
- Complete national statistics returns
- Ensure internal and external customer queries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner
- Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and tax packs
Person Specification:
- Willingness to studying towards ACCA/CIMA
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- Confident communicator both verbally and written
- A comprehensive understanding of accounting systems and the interaction of ledgers
