Description
The Lead Data Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Leading the development and implementation of data strategies and processes.
- Supporting the wide data team,
- Liaising with stakeholders to identify data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensuring data quality and integrity across all platforms.
- Developing and maintaining data pipelines.
- Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Driving innovation in data usage within the company.
Profile
A successful Lead Data Engineer will be able to demonstrate knowledge in:
- A degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field.
- Expertise in data manipulation and analysis tools.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A creative approach to problem-solving and the ability to drive innovation.#
Technical skills:
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Platform I.E Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Warehouse, DataBricks etc.
- Data modelling I.E Inmon/Kimball/Data Vault etc.
- Prior exposure to working with Data warehouse, data lakes, delta lakes etc.
Job Offer
In addition to a competitive base salary, ranging from £60,000 to £65,000 pa, we can also offer:
