Job Description Summary:

This is a fixed term contract role. The Event Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of events activities supporting the overall successful planning and execution of internal and external events across the Events and Partnership function.

The Event Manger provides foundational planning and execution support to the broader Events and Partnership team. They work using their own initiative, able to deal with an element of ambiguity. Works with minimal guidance & direction.

Key Responsibilities

:

  • Support in the successful planning and execution of LSEG events across the Group
  • Support the partnership with the business in delivery of these key programs and events
  • Support key logistics including development of agendas and timelines, customer or client list development and attendee registration, select customer engagement, budget reporting, food and beverage planning, travel planning
  • Onsite and 3rd party location support for key events
  • Ability to navigate between virtual and in person event execution

  • Substantial experience in event planning
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Clear written and oral communications skills
  • Comfortable engaging with senior level stakeholders and guests
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Passionate about the individual contribution one can make to the overall success of our business
  • Proficient in technology tools to drive more effective operations of the team
  • Knowledge of the industry and markets we serve
