My client is a cybersecurity company working primarily in Operational Technology (OT). They combine the very best cyber engineers with former military personnel to provide cybersecurity solutions for the Energy and Government Sectors, matching software products with support services to provide OT Security as a Service (OT SECaaS) solutions.
They have continued to grow over the last 5 years since inception. They provide OT Security Consultancy and Services and are keen to keep expanding their clients and team. The client is a part of the Armed Forces Covenant and offers strong benefits.
Your new role
My client seeks an experienced engineer to supplement our team - ideally with a broad knowledge of multiple systems and processes. We are looking for someone able to audit and assess live plants in order to produce or enhance asset registers and document systems, and contribute knowledge to the wider team, which will allow it to enhance clients' cybersecurity postures, and their compliance with regulations and specifications.
The main point of the role will be to provide OT engineering and consultancy services to the companies' clients, who range from Oil & Gas, Pharma, CNI and Manufacturing, amongst others. The role will require 2 weeks out of 6 being on client sites, which can be anywhere from Scotland to the South UK, to Norway and the North Sea.
What you'll need to succeed
Strong experience with IEC62443. The more experience, the better. If you have the IEC62443 Expert Certificate, you will be sought after here! Even if you have 1 of the 4 modules, that would be beneficial. Ideally, you would be an experienced PLC/DCS/SCADA professional. The role would suit a commissioning engineer from an integration background or a support engineer from a large plant with diverse systems.
What you'll get in return
A salary of between £70k and £90k, depending on experience. The client is willing to put the right people through the IEC62443 certs, should you have the right experience and expertise within this remit. Strong pension contribution, potential for bonus, and other benefits available.
