Position Details:

Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant with SEN experience
Location: Medway
Employment Type: Long term, full time
Start Date: September 2024
Salary: £110-130 per day, dependent on experience

  • Level 5 or above CACHE Teaching Qualification or experience as HLTA
  • SEN experience
  • Confident to work across primary age range
  • Classroom support
  • Intervention support

Job Description:

We're working with a vibrant, diverse primary school in the Medway area, who are looking for a HLTA or Higher Level Teaching Assistant with a desire to work with children and young people with SEN, for the coming year. If you are:

  • An adaptable, flexible teaching assistant
  • HLTA qualified
  • Looking for a new teaching assistant roles this September
  • A higher level teaching assistant, looking for flexibility in their work
  • Someone who enjoys supporting children and young people with a range additional needs
  • HLTA who can work across year groups
  • HLTA passionate to support children with learning and development

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to an inclusive, supportive classroom
  • Help children achieve learning and development targets
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Cover classes when needed
  • Support with interventions and additional learning

Requirements:

  • Passionate to work inclusively to support people with additional needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
