Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Manage and develop strong, long-term relationships with key grocery accounts
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analyse consumer trends to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Product Placement: Ensure optimal placement and promotion of our products in retail outlets.
- Negotiation: Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and promotional activities with grocery retailers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and product development teams to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
- Reporting: Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and account activities.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to grocery accounts, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
Profile
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in national account management within the food and beverage industry, preferably with a focus on grocery accounts.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the grocery retail environment and consumer trends in the food industry.
