Salary: Up to £30k (depending on experience)

Location: Manchester/Hybrid - with regular travel to our Didsbury office

Fletchers Group has an exciting opportunity for a creative, resourceful and detail-orientated social media and content specialist to lead our social media activity across multiple brands.

As a key member of our corporate communications team, you will play a vital role in shaping and enhancing the online presence of the Fletchers Group brands, including driving client engagement across various social media platforms.

This role is not just about posting content, we are looking for someone who can craft a clear narrative that resonates with our followers and fosters a deeper connection with clients, communities and other key stakeholders.

You will be a strong and effective communicator and writer, with the ability to convey information clearly, effectively and consistently, to a range of different audiences.

Ultimately, you will ensure all our social media content contains high quality, professional, and engaging social media output, which brings the story of our work and our people to life.

About Fletchers Group

Fletchers Group is home to a group of specialist medical negligence and personal injury companies and legal brands including Fletchers Solicitors, Serious Injury Law, Cycle SOS, Patient Claim Line and Blume. The Group, which was acquired by an affiliate of Sun European Partners, LLP in 2021, currently employs over 900 people across offices in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Southport, Bolton and Cambridge.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the development of the organic social media plans across the Group in conjunction with the PR & Corporate Comms team including strategy, goals, and tactics.
  • Execute the day-to-day work across channels, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X and other emerging platforms.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality, relevant, and engaging content spanning articles, blog posts, infographics, videos, and more.
  • Identify content themes and define the types of content that should be used across different brands and platforms.
  • Develop and execute social media content calendars to ensure consistent posting and brand alignment.
  • Interact meaningfully and confidently with our online communities and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Respond to comments and queries in a timely manner, identify and capture marketing opportunities as well as areas of improvement.
  • Monitor and analyse social media performance using analytics tools, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Deliver regular analysis and reporting on social media metrics and content performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and key business stakeholders to produce engaging content suited to each platform.
  • Educate team members and colleagues on best practice and industry developments in social media.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience

  • Proven track record of leadership and successful execution of social media campaigns in a corporate, B2B or PR agency setting
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong writing ability, proofreading and editorial skills including an assortment of styles (i.e. educational, editorial)
  • Creative and full of ideas of how to improve and innovate
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task as priorities and deliverables changes
  • Ability to work independently and also collaborate within a team

Desirable qualifications, skills and experience

  • Experience and understanding of the legal sector and competitors is a plus
  • Proficiency in capturing and editing video and image content
  • Relevant professional qualifications
