You will be assigned with the following responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons, ensuring a productive learning environment.
- Provide individual and group support to students, helping them with their academic tasks and personal development.
- Help prepare and organise teaching materials and classroom resources.
- Assist in managing student behaviour, fostering a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere.
- Support the assessment and tracking of student progress, providing feedback and assisting with reports.
A perfect candidate will possess:
- Have Right to work in the UK
- Have an Enhanced DBS on the update service
- Provide 2 proven professional references
- Previous experience working with young people, ideally in a secondary school setting,
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with students.
- A patient and encouraging approach, committed to helping students succeed.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff to support the school's goals.
- Flexible and responsive to the diverse needs of students.
