As they continue to expand, they are seeking a highly skilled and commercially savvy Head of Learning & Apprenticeships to join the team.

Head of Learning & Apprenticeships - The Role:

As the Head of Learning & Apprenticeships, you will play a crucial role in shaping our learning and development strategy.

You will be responsible for leading the design, execution, and ongoing enhancement of learning and apprenticeship programmes, ensuring they meet the needs of their clients and align with our business goals.

This role offers the opportunity to lead a key area of the business and make a lasting impact.

Head of Learning & Apprenticeships - Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and apprenticeship strategy that aligns with growth objectives
  • Lead and mentor a team of L&D professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
  • Drive the commercial growth of learning and apprenticeship offerings, identifying and pursuing new market opportunities
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance in our apprenticeship programs, adhering to regulatory requirements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and regulatory bodies
  • Use data and insights to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programmes, driving continuous improvement

Head of Learning & Apprenticeships - About You:

  • Strategic leader with a strong commercial focus
  • Deep understanding of Learning & Development
  • Proven track record in leading successful learning initiatives
  • Comfortable operating at a senior level
  • Your ability to innovate, lead teams, and deliver results will be essential to your success in this role

Key Requirements:

  • A strong academic background, with a relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • Extensive experience in Learning & Development, with a focus on apprenticeships, ideally across both public and private sectors. A commercial mindset, with a proven ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
  • A thorough understanding of the regulatory landscape related to apprenticeships and L&D
