We are seeking an Education Recruitment Consultant to join a leading educational recruitment agency. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for the education sector and a talent for sales, who is ready to connect education professionals with fulfilling roles within schools.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with education professionals to match them with suitable roles.
  • Offer personalized support to candidates, ensuring alignment between their career aspirations and available opportunities.
  • Work closely with schools and head teachers to provide consultative staffing solutions.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in the field of educational recruitment.
  • Engage in sales activities, including making outbound calls and attending client meetings.
  • Negotiate pay rates and foster positive, long-term relationships with candidates.
  • Monitor job placements to ensure satisfaction and meet financial targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven sales ability and a minimum of 1 year of recruitment experience, preferably in temporary recruitment.
  • Bachelor's degree (2:1 or above).
  • Understanding of the UK education system.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanour.
  • Ambition for a long-term career in recruitment.
  • Self-motivated, deadline-oriented, and empathetic.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence in conducting interviews and engaging with senior stakeholders.

Hours: Monday to Friday 7am to 4.30pm, and 8am to 5.30pm on an alternating basis through the week. The hours are shorter during school holidays and will be 9am to 5pm
