REED Finance is proud to exclusively partner with a well-established group in the automotive industry. This is an exciting time to join, as they have recently acquired a new business.

As their new Finance Manager, you will oversee the financial operations and ensure the financial health of the sales division. This role is integral to preparing financial reports, conducting analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making.

We welcome candidates with strong analytical skills and experience in financial management, particularly within the automotive industry.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights to support business decisions.
  • Develop and manage the annual budgeting process and prepare financial forecasts.
  • Analyse and manage costs, identifying opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and coordinate with external auditors for statutory accounts and tax returns.
  • Process AP and AR transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
  • Manage payroll processing, maintaining records and managing employee benefits.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified or significant experience if qualified by experience.
  • Proven experience in a management accounting role, preferably within the automotive or sales industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently.
