ROLE- Merchandiser
LOCATION- London
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £35,000 - £40,000, dependent on experience
My client is a specialist product designer and manufacturer. They are looking for a Merchandiser to join their team in London on a permanent basis.
The Merchandiser will ideally have the following attributes:
- At least 2 years' experience in Merchandising or a similar role
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment would be ideal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other related software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Highly driven with the ability to work independently
The Merchandiser role will involve:
- Collaborating with the merchandising team to assist in the development and execution of strategic merchandising plans
- Raising purchase orders, forecasting, stock replenishment
- Reviewing samples and raising purchase orders
- Assisting in stock ordering and inventory management to ensure optimal product availability
- Supporting the manufacturing process by liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely production and delivery
- Monitoring and analysing sales and inventory data to identify trends and make informed merchandising decisions
- Assisting in developing forecasts and budgets
- Communicating and coordinating with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and logistics
