We are currently seeking a talented and driven Head of Procurement to join a leading construction supplier dedicated to providing high-quality materials and innovative solutions to the construction industry. My client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Procurement to join their team and drive their procurement strategy.
As the Head of Procurement you will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities, ensuring the efficient acquisition of materials, goods and services necessary for my clients operations.
Duties include:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and project requirements
- Working closely with internal stakeholders ensuring procurement is aligned to companies' objectives
- Ensure the procurement of high-quality materials at competitive prices while adhering to budget constraints
- Managing and developing the procurement team
- Managing the supply chain to ensure optimum stock availability with clear stock holding targets and OTIF KPI'S
The successful candidate must have/be:
- Expert relationship builder across internal and external stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Leadership of an operational department in a similar related industry or similar market.
