Job Title: Production Team Leader

Location: Cheshire

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (12-hour shifts)

Salary: £43,000 - £49,000

We are looking for a Production Team Leader to join our client's team in Cheshire. They are a global leader in Food & Beverage Manufacturing and Distributing.

Production Team Leader responsibilities include:

  • Adhering to legal, ethical standards, and company policies.
  • Leading and motivating their shift to achieve operational objectives and foster a unified team culture.
  • Managing people performance to develop a competent operations department.
  • Conducting appraisals, addressing training and development needs.
  • Building cross-shift relationships to improve performance and align procedures.
  • Overseeing people management, including handling absences, performance issues, and disciplinary actions.
  • Reducing accident rates, increasing near miss reporting, and collaborating with the EHS Manager.
  • Completing a shift report after each 12-hour shift.
  • Managing site emergencies out of hours on a rotational basis.
  • Maximising site efficiencies and meeting production plans.
  • Supporting the Site Director and managers in achieving cost-efficient and stable production, emphasising KPIs and change control projects.
  • Managing plant breakdowns and resources.
  • Ensuring the site is always audit-ready.
  • Conducting accident and environmental investigations.
  • Ensuring product quality meets specifications and customer requirements.
  • Identifying and minimizing all forms of waste.
  • Completing daily stock updates for the site.
