Our client is looking to bolster their public sector sales team this fiscal year with a dynamic and driven player manager. This is a unique opportunity for a talented individual to actively sell and grow into a team leader/manager role, with the potential to step into management immediately for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership: Actively engage in selling and gradually take on management activities.
  • Team Building: Develop into a team leader/manager role as you prove your capabilities.
  • Account Management: Sell into various aspects of the Public Sector within a VAR environment.
  • Revenue Generation: Achieve GP expectations of £200K-£300K in the first year through relationship building, net new opportunities, or both.
  • Strategic Planning: Plan and build a high-performing sales team with the potential to bring in additional team members.
  • Management Transition: Transition to a management or hybrid plan after the first year based on performance.

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years selling into the Public Sector within a VAR.
  • Track Record: Proven success in sales with a hunger for growth and team building.
  • Leadership Potential: Ready to plan and execute strategies for team development.
  • Financial Acumen: Ability to meet financial targets and manage sales budgets.

Compensation

  • Salary Range: £45K - £65K, based on experience and potential contributions.
  • First Year Plan: Paid as an individual contributor with a compelling plan for growth.
  • Growth Opportunities: Potential to transition into a senior management role.
