BANDSAW OPERATIVE
Adept are delighted to announce we are working with a client based in Mansfield who are the leading company in the specialist equipment and tooling for distribution pipelines.
Due to an increased workload they are now looking to add a Bandsaw Operative to their team.
SHIFTS - 07:45 - 16:15 Monday to Thursday and 07:45 - 16:00 Fridays
SALARY - £12.50 - £13.00 per hour rates DOE
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate sawing machines to cut, trim, and shape materials per specifications.
- Read and interpret drawings
- Ensure precise measurements and quality of cuts.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings for efficiency.
- Inspect materials for defects before and after cutting.
- Safely handle and store materials.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance.
- Adhere to safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with the team for smooth production.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience as a Saw Operator
- Proficiency in operating sawing equipment.
- Understanding of measurements and drawings.
- Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Commitment to safety and cleanliness.
