Part Time Receptionist

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our established client who are based on the outskirts of Thatcham for a Part Time Receptionist. This is a term time only position + 9 weeks. Working mornings your role will be to provide a friendly and professional welcome to visitors both in person and over the phone.

  • Location: Thatcham**,** fully office based
  • Working Hours: 8:30AM - 1.15pm
  • Salary - £13,316 per annum

As the Part Time Receptionist, you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving all visitors ensuring they are suitably welcomed and looked after appropriately, served refreshments and issued with a visitor's badge.
  • Answer telephone calls, pick up voicemail messages, forward calls or take messages and ensure that the telephone is covered in the event of being called away or that voicemail is put on outside of hours.
  • To deal with all outgoing post and distribute other internal post as required.
  • Maintain the car registration, register and issue car stickers as required.
  • Take minutes at staff meetings.
  • Producing reports from the database on a regular basis
  • To ensure that the reception area & waiting room are neat and tidy
  • Manage and maintain the use of the franking machine to ensure that funds stay within a workable level and record all postage costs
  • To participate in any relevant staff meeting & training days, and any relevant internal/external courses as recommended by the Administration Manager.
  • To undertake such other tasks relevant to the work of the Administration Department

  • Flexible approach and willingness to adapt to change.
  • Proactive, focused, with consistent attention to detail.
  • Excellent IT skills, with experience in Microsoft Suite.
  • Enjoy a varied line of work, with enthusiasm to get involved in multiple tasks.
  • A flexible approach to working hours will be required from time to time to provide support to the department.
