Recruit UK is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to be an Assistant Paraplanner to support a leading UK Wealth Management firms advisers and clients in navigating the complexities of financial planning. As a vital part of the team, you will engage in data collection, product research, and the preparation of client information , ensuring a smooth advice-giving process.

Your Role:

  • Manage existing policy information, including issuing letters of authority and obtaining policy details through various means.
  • Create new business illustrations using top-tier software.
  • Assist in preparing analyses and comparisons for Paraplanners and Advisers using financial planning tools.
  • Coordinate the acquisition of necessary application forms and paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate data records on company systems, adhering to our procedures and achieving departmental KPIs.

Ideal experience:

  • Progression towards a Regulated Diploma in Financial Planning (CII).
  • A strong understanding of the Financial Planning process.
  • The ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and demonstrate a proactive attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, X-Plan, Iress, and other software tools. (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
