Career Teachers are recruiting passionate and qualified Teachers to work in a range of Primary Schools in the Wakefield Education Authority. Successful applicants can work on a full time or part time basis.
Career Teachers support a range of schools including Independent, SEN and Faith Schools.
Career Teachers are currently working with a mid-size trust. Staff and governors are dedicated, hard-working and absolutely committed to providing the best possible education for all the children across the schools operating within the trust, setting high expectations for learning.
You will be supporting in different classes covering PPA and absence across the schools. Work will be planned, but marking will be expected.
As part of this role, you will be required to:
- Meet the Professional Standards for Teachers.
- Play a full part in the life of the trust community and support its ethos, values and aims.
The successful candidate must:
- Be an excellent classroom practitioner, in terms of challenging gifted pupils, supporting special needs and creatively organising the learning environment
- Have high expectations and a commitment to raising standards and achievements.
- Have recent teaching experience in Key Stages 1 and 2.
- Have a secure knowledge and understanding of the primary framework and pedagogy.
- Be passionate about the development of the whole child.
