We are very excited to be recruiting a Marketing Manager, to work for a growing SME providing solutions in the supply chain industry. We are seeking an experienced marketing manager, able to provide the overall strategy to best describe and market this complex business to business service. From the outset, in this new role, you will create a marketing strategy and develop your own vision for the board.

To ensure success, you will need extensive knowledge of marketing strategies and the ability to identify areas that will unlock new business leads. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in delivering increased brand awareness, sales growth and improved profitability.

The main duties of the role:

  • Develop strategic marketing initiatives and activities
  • Implement marketing plans that include digital and physical content
  • Create branded advertising campaigns
  • Setup tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities
  • Conduct market research to identify appropriate marketing opportunities and media coverage
  • Create, maintain and strengthen the organization's overall brand through all media avenues
  • Organize and streamline service offerings into user-friendly concepts
  • Develop contacts that will enable the promotion of the services into industry forums
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Deliver visual aids to simplify complex information for clients and management review

We would be looking for the successful candidate to have the following skills:

  • Work experience from a similar environment would be an extreme advantage
  • Bachelors degree in marketing/communications or related (essential)
  • Two years of experience in content management, creative writing, advertising concepts and media negotiations
  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and research proficiencies.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret competitor strategies and consumer behaviour
  • Expert knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Ability to gather large amounts of data and convert it into meaningful analysis
  • Solid organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Creative mind with superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to simplify complex information into a user-friendly format
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, and relevant web/digital editing packages
