My client is an extremely well-established Pharmaceutical wholesaler & distributor, and we are proud to support in their search for an experienced Inventory Supervisor to join their brand-new site close to Doncaster to manage the integrity of all stock movements, stock control management and availability of products across 000's of SKU's for the delivery of very important, lifesaving products across the UK.

Hours: Monday-Friday 08:30 – 17:00.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fully investigate and report accurately all short shipments/discrepancies in the warehouse.
  • Train and develop staff in line with both customer and business requirements.
  • Effectively lead a team, ensuring all training requirements are met.
  • Managing order processing and stock requirements of the clients and the company.
  • Compiling monthly reports to account managers and clients Performing tasks within WMS to ensure customers' orders are shipped as expected.
  • Effective liaising with transport/warehouse operations to ensure process is completed correctly and efficiently.
  • Encourage continuous improvement to become part of operational daily activity.
  • Batch reconciliations and traceability Performing tasks within WMS to maintain correct inventory levels.
  • Ensure order and stock discrepancies are dealt with in a timely manner and escalated where appropriate.
  • Identify and eradicate any potential operational risk to stock integrity.
  • Investigate and improve stock accuracy and order discrepancies.
  • Manage and lead supplier stock takes.

Key Skills:

  • Effective presentation and communication ability Computer literate, competent user of all Microsoft Office applications – specifically Excel.
  • Clear Stock & Inventory control process experience.
  • Ability to be organised to prioritise workload whilst demonstrating time management skills
  • Commitment to health and safety.
  • A sound knowledge of the principles of warehouse operations and planning functions.
  • Good numerical and analytical skills paying strong attention to details.
  • PC literate with experience of WMS, Excel, Words, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work under pressure and flexible in their approach.
