MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT - 35-45Kpa - PERM - BASED IN SHREWSBURY - HYBRID WORKING (3-4 days from home)
Greenwellgleeson are recruiting exclusively for a well-established successful business based in Shrewsbury The opportunity is to work as a senior member of the Group's finance team with financial responsibilities for both of these businesses.
The candidate would ideally be part-qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA who is seeking a fresh challenge, working in a fast-paced growth environment.
The successful candidate will possess good communication skills, as interaction with all areas of the business and levels of management will play a key part of the role. Strong IT skills, a process driven attitude, and knowledge of accounting standards is also desirable.
The role will include: -
- Preparation and review of monthly management accounts to deadline.
- Produce divisional P&L's and provide analysis and commentary for related stakeholders.
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are completed monthly and a robust control environment is maintained.
- Complete quarterly VAT returns.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly profit forecasts.
- Assist in preparing the annual budget in conjunction with the Financial Controller.
- Support the Sales Team with financial queries and deal with queries from customers.
- Undertake internal audit work as necessary within the business.
- Complete any ad-hoc tasks as directed by Financial Controller.
- Play a key role with year-end audit and preparation of statutory accounts.
- To provide support for the wider finance team and the business as a whole as and when required.
