Join Our Team as a Class 2 HIAB Driver!
Driver Hire Southampton is seeking Class 2 HIAB drivers to work with our esteemed clients in the builder's merchant sector.
About the Role:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays
- Start Time: 7:00 am
- Hours: 8-10 hour days
- Deliveries: Multidrop deliveries of builder's merchant materials to residential areas and building sites around Southampton
- Responsibilities: Accurate completion of paperwork, Manual handling and heavy lifting as needed
Requirements:
- Full UK Class 2 licence
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- HIAB brick grab ticket
- 6 months of experience driving Class 2 vehicles preferred (newly qualified drivers are welcome)
- Previous multidrop experience beneficial
- Own transport to commute to and from work
- Excellent timekeeping and communication skills
- Strong customer service abilities
- Adherence to company health and safety procedures
