Stanton House is currently recruiting for an Interim Senior Finance Manager - Cash & Balance Sheet to join a Professional Services Business based in London on a 6-month Contract paying £700 - £750 per day (IR35 to be determined). This is a hybrid role requiring the candidate to work in their London offices 1-2 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Enhances balance sheet review processes and capabilities, collaborating with Finance Shared Services.
- Improves cash flow reporting and metrics to support working capital optimisation.
- Leads cashflow forecasting using the Group's multi-statement model with Group FP&A.
- Develops capex reporting and forecasting processes in partnership with Group FP&A.
- Ensures audit-standard controls are in place.
- Provides comprehensive balance sheet, cash flow, and capex reporting and analysis.
- Oversees working capital reporting and collaborates with optimisation leads to drive improvements.
- Evaluates regional and unit balance sheets for consistency and accuracy.
- Offers guidance on cash, balance sheet, and capex accounting and reporting.
- Serves as the main contact for external auditors on balance sheet and cash flow matters.
- Assists in preparing financial statements and notes for the Annual Report and Accounts alongside the Group Reporting team.
To be suitable for this role you must have the following:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Extensive financial accounting experience in a global, complex IFRS environment.
- Blend of Big 4 accounting and industry financial accounting expertise.
- Strong background in balance sheet and cash flow reporting, focusing on process improvement.
- Deep technical knowledge of IFRS, particularly in intangible assets, capitalisation, and impairment.
- Proven track record in process improvement and establishing robust internal controls.
- Proficient in financial systems.
- Skilled in developing and implementing practical financial accounting solutions.
