We are currently seeking a proactive HR Generalist II to implement our annual Human Resource goals and contribute to our functional and business unit objectives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on complex HR issues and implementing solutions through individual effort, as well as collaborating with a team.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Implement HR processes, practices, and systems to enhance organizational and people capability, including staffing, performance management, training & development, and employee relations.
  • Conduct workforce planning and forecasting in line with site HR goals.
  • Provide advice on human resource and labour regulatory issues, and coach leaders to support effective relationships with their employees.
  • Develop cost-effective and practical HR solutions to attract and retain the required skills.
  • Lead projects as directed by site HR leadership, facilitate change management, and provide engagement, coaching, and advising to stakeholders.
  • Utilize corporate support resources to deliver tactical and operational support, ensuring effective delivery.
  • Implement HR improvements to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency at the site.
  • Perform additional duties as requested.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or CIPD Qualified, with two (2) years of relevant recent HR experience, OR
  • Post-secondary education (associate's degree) or CIPD Associate Level, with four (4) years of HR experience, including two (2) years in HR management or a relevant discipline.
  • Fluent in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards.
  • Must be able to work in both office and manufacturing plant settings, with occasional lifting of moderately heavy objects (up to 25 pounds).

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with UK Employment Law.
  • Experience managing and leading investigations.
  • Experience creating, managing, and leading HR training.
