My client is seeking an experienced Process Engineering Manager to lead their team of Process Engineers. In this role, you will provide first-line management, coaching, and guidance to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. Your expertise in process improvement, leadership, and technical knowledge will be critical to my clients success.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a team of Process Engineers.
- Provide advice and guidance to enable their professional development.
- Investigate and address specific areas of concern, identifying root causes and proposing solutions.
- Demonstrate leadership aligned with our core values.
- Apply LEAN manufacturing, Six Sigma, FMEA, 5S, statistical process control, and 8D methodology.
- Conduct audits of manufacturing processes and documentation.
- Understand the financial impact of product and process changes.
- Possess excellent product knowledge and familiarity with shop floor processes.
- Meet departmental process group skills and company behavioral competency criteria.
- A degree in an Engineering field is preferred but not essential.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Process Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of team management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
