Product Co-Ordinator, Permanent Full-time, £25 - 30k per annum D.O.E
A small family run import business is looking for an experienced and motivated Product Co-Ordinator to join this well-established and successful operation. This company has two operations/offices set up in China and the UK Office is situated in Ipswich for easy access to Felixstowe port.
They are committed and known for providing a quality service to their customers. Their team of qualified inspectors check everything from the loading, packaging and specification, ensuring that when a shipment is sent, it arrives exactly as ordered to meet the customers' expectation of quality.

What we're looking for in a Product Co-Ordinator...
- Technical background/ability
- Quality control experience and knowledge of UK testing standards.
- Good understanding of inventory procedures.
- Product inspection criteria - working with our inspectors in China to create best practice.
- Check product samples before they are sent out to our customers for approval.
- Organise exhibition display products for the Garden Furniture trade show, assemble display products each year. (This will involve staying away for a couple of days)
- Good telephone manner, communication and time management skills are essential.
- Manage and send out parts/spares for Garden Furniture products.
- Visit customers if a problem has been highlighted with their product - check, investigate and look to resolve.
- Write accurate reports for administration and filing systems.
Desired Attributes for a Product Co-Ordinator...
- You will need a strong technical knowledge or an electrical background
- Want to learn how products are manufactured
- Ability assemble products and are physically fit
- Work on your own initiative, using attention to detail and communication with internal teams
- Skilled on Microsoft Excel and Word
- Hold a valid UK Driving Licence
