Job Overview:

As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive revenue growth, leading a high-performing sales team, and nurturing key client relationships. You will be accountable for achieving sales targets, expanding the customer base, and working closely with marketing, product, and customer success to align efforts across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive new customer acquisition and increase market penetration.

  • Create and manage the sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and ensure consistent quarterly growth.

  • Work closely with marketing to align go-to-market strategies, campaigns, and lead-generation efforts.

  • Team Leadership:

  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performance sales team, setting clear goals and providing regular coaching.

  • Recruit and onboard new sales team members to scale the team as the company grows.

  • Foster a positive, high-energy sales culture focused on accountability, results, and continuous learning.

  • Customer Relationships & Account Management:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor to understand their business needs and help position our solutions.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by working closely with Customer Success to manage smooth onboarding and maximize client retention.

  • Revenue & Performance Management:

  • Take ownership of the sales team's revenue targets, monitor key sales metrics, and provide accurate forecasting and reporting to executive leadership.

  • Implement processes to optimize performance, improve conversion rates, and ensure a structured approach to pipeline management.

  • Market Analysis & Competitive Insights:

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, customer challenges, and competitor activities to inform the strategy and product positioning.

  • Provide regular feedback to Product and Marketing teams to drive product roadmap and enhance go-to-market effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within a high-growth environment.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in building, leading, and scaling a sales team with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to inspire, coach, and develop team members while fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Strong commitment to understanding customer needs and delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in sales metrics and KPIs, with experience in using CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
