Treasury Analyst

Exciting opportunity for a Treasury Analyst to join a highly regarded company within their Finance team. This role is ideal for candidates with a recognized accounting or treasury qualification, those nearing completion of one, or individuals qualified through experience. Key responsibilities include managing corporate treasury operations, cash flow analysis, and providing reports to senior financial stakeholders. You'll also contribute to various projects, such as financial risk management, insurance coordination, audits, and streamlining business processes.

In this role, you'll collaborate with the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and the Assistant Accountant - Treasury to ensure accurate weekly treasury forecasts and internal reports. The position offers a flexible working arrangement, with time split between the head office and remote working.

Salary range: £40,000 - £45,000, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the FP&A budget and forecasting by ensuring cash flow assumptions are accurate. Communicate any performance deviations to key stakeholders to help maintain alignment with financial targets.
  • Support banking relationships by providing liquidity management reports and recommendations, ensuring banking instructions are prepared and communicated effectively to maintain liquidity.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of corporate banking arrangements and reporting obligations, ensuring timely bank reports and careful management of communication to meet covenant requirements.
  • Coordinate annual insurance renewals and claims by working with different teams to gather and review required information, providing guidance and feedback where necessary.
  • Assist with broader corporate finance functions, including financial risk management, refinancing, and treasury operations.
  • Support audit processes by preparing necessary documents and liaising with auditors to ensure clarity on financial procedures.
  • Provide backup for the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and assist with other financial projects and analysis as needed.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A strong foundation in corporate treasury processes and functions.
  • Self-driven with a desire to advance within the treasury field.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
  • A keen eye for detail.
  • Proven experience in streamlining processes and eliminating inefficiencies.
  • Capable of challenging existing procedures to identify areas for improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with both finance and non-finance professionals, and adaptable in communication style.
  • Highly organized, resilient, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in fast-moving and high-growth sectors.
  • A commercial mindset with a strong desire to understand the broader business
