By understanding their transport booking processes and incorporating their feedback, we developed new features tailored to their requirements.

With the successful launch of our platform, we expanded our reach. We began collaborating with staffing agencies that supply staff for sporting events across the country. Soon, event providers joined our growing list of clients. Seeing the demand, we extended our services to individuals planning weddings and all kinds of other events.

Today, DrivenConnect proudly serves over 30 organisations with business accounts and handles hundreds of bookings from individuals each month. Position Summary: DrivenConnect is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant who is eager to excel in a dynamic environment. The primary responsibility of this role is to obtain quotes from our network of operators and coordinate bookings for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a hunger for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quote Management:

  • Request quotes from operators using DrivenConnect's proprietary system.

  • Compare and analyse quotes to ensure competitive pricing and optimal service options.

  • Communicate with operators to clarify details and negotiate terms when necessary.

  • Booking Coordination:

  • Confirm bookings with clients based on the selected quotes.

  • Ensure all booking details are accurately recorded and communicated to both operators and clients.

  • Manage and update booking schedules and records in the DrivenConnect database.

  • Customer Service:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.

  • Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure their satisfaction with our services.

  • Relationship Building:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with operators to secure the best deals and ensure reliable service.

  • Liaise with new operators to expand DrivenConnect's network.

  • Process Improvement:

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the booking process by providing feedback and suggesting enhancements to the platform.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably within the transport or events industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and other booking software.
  • A proactive and driven attitude with a hunger for success.
