A leading accountancy firm in Cardiff is looking for a dedicated Senior Accountant to enhance their team. This role involves a variety of responsibilities, including the preparation of statutory accounts and year-end financial statements for a diverse range of clients, with a focus on unincorporated businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts for various clients.
- Prepare year-end financial statements/accounts for unincorporated businesses.
- Conduct bookkeeping assignments for clients, both in-house and at client premises.
- Prepare management accounts and HMRC VAT returns for clients.
- Utilize a variety of accounting software such as IRIS, Xero, Quickbooks, SAGE, etc.
- Respond to client queries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Keep Accounts Managers updated on job progress and any issues.
- Contribute to raising the firm's profile by ensuring client satisfaction and awareness of all services offered.
- Assist the tax department as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant.
- Proficiency in accounting software and systems.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
