First Article Inspector
Salary: Up to £38k
Hours: 8:30am to 5pm (Mon to Fri) 8:30am to 12pm (Fridays)
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Near Uxbridge

Syntech Recruitment are looking for a qualified First Article Inspector to join an world leading aerospace client based near Uxbridge.
First Article Inspector Duties:
- Regularly plan inspection to ensure product meets requirements with QPM.
- Complete all inspection and FAIRs for high quality aerospace components.
- Reviewing and ensuring all completed FAI meet the requirements of QAI-148 / AS9102, buy off the reports and archive them correctly.
- Assisting the continuous improvement of effectiveness of the First Article Inspection processes to meet and/or exceed QAI-148 and AS9102
- Supporting any other FAI Inspection activities as and when required.
First Article Inspector Profile:
- Have a background working in manufacturing or engineering (Aerospace Background Desirable)
- Have experience with inspection.
- Confidently understand the application of the AS9102 First Article Inspection process.
- Vast experience of reading technical drawings.
- Good working knowledge of inspection tools.
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Office Applications)
