Your new role
You will be working as a Management Accountant for a local authority, reporting to the strategic finance manager.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need business partnering experience, ideally HRA or Housing general fund.
Role
- Contributing to the closing of accounts process and assisting in the production of the year-end financial position and performance for the Council (or external bodies/charities)
- Assisting budget holders in the preparation of detailed revenue budgets and reviewing of income streams including fees and charges, ensuring these are set robustly.
- Managing the budget monitoring process and assisting in the production of a consolidated financial position for the Council (or external bodies/charities)
