We are currently seeking a diligent and proactive Management Accountant to join our finance team. This role is pivotal in producing accurate monthly management accounts for three divisions. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading our annual budget and monthly forecast processes, working closely with managers across the company.
Day to day of the role:
- Produce accurate monthly management accounts for three separate divisions in a timely manner.
- Lead the annual budget and monthly forecast processes, collaborating with relevant managers.
- Proactively identify and implement improvements in finance and business processes for faster, more accurate management information.
- Maintain and enhance financial controls, including an accurate balance sheet.
- Partner with operational and commercial departments to assist in achieving business goals.
- Analyse business performance against Budget, Forecast, and Prior Year, providing timely insights.
- Uphold company standards for financial control to protect company assets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Part qualified CIMA/ACA or QBE with a proven track record of producing management accounts for senior management.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to challenge and advise business partners and senior management.
- Analytical skills, with the capability to interrogate systems, analyse data, and produce insightful information to enhance business performance.
- Independence, with the ability to take full control of the management accounts production process.
- Advanced Excel user.
