£22,000-£24,000 per annum (pro-rata for part time)

Our client is a Business Communications and Fleet Vehicle Solutions specialist providing a range of products and services designed to save their customers time and money. Established in 2005 they have built up a nationwide customer base and are keen to find an organised, focused individual with a strong level of attention to detail to join their team.

The Role

As an Office Administrator you will be responsible for supporting the team with various aspects of finance and administration. You will be integral to ensuring orders are dealt with smoothly and invoices go out, and are paid, on time.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing sales and purchase orders.
  • Stock Control including ordering and sending out parcels.
  • Debtor Control.
  • Dealing with customer invoice queries.
  • Reconciling engineer job sheets.
  • Maintaining reports and records.
  • Setting up new customer accounts.
  • Data Entry.
  • Other admin tasks and ad-hoc projects.

Person Specification

Essential:

  • Experience working in a similar role.
  • Able to learn new processes and systems as well as absorb information quickly.
  • A high work ethic and an energetic, methodical approach to work.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen focus on attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Outgoing, professionally approachable personality.
  • Strong relationship building skills, targeted at both clients/potential clients and internally.
  • Able to work on your own initiative.
  • Competent in prioritising workloads.

Desirable:

  • Experience with Sage and using CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of industry.

Although industry knowledge is desirable, it is not essential as full training will be provided. However, ability to absorb information quickly is imperative.

Hours:

Part-Time – Five days, hours to be agreed between the hours below

Full-Time – Monday to Thursday 9:00 – 17:30, Friday 9:00 – 16:30

Salary will be £22,000-£24,000 per annum (pro-rata for part time) dependent on experience. 20 days holiday, rising to 25, plus Bank Holidays.
