Client Manager

We have an exciting new vacancy of Client Manager, for an enthusiastic, energetic, friendly and determined individual to join one of the fastest growing Invoice Finance companies in the country and the largest independent Invoice Finance Company in the county.

The Role

The Client Manager is responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of clients utilising invoice financing services offered by the company. They act as the main point of contact between the company and its clients, ensuring client satisfaction, and assisting in the growth and retention of the client base. The Client Manager should be dedicated to building and maintaining long-term client relationships, managing client accounts effectively, and contributing to the

company's growth and success in the invoice financing industry.

The Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and support.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide proactive solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and address any issues promptly.

Account Management:

  • Monitor and manage the client accounts within the portfolio.
  • Review and assess the creditworthiness of clients and their invoices.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and credit teams to evaluate and approve financing requests.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual agreements and financial covenants.

Credit Analysis:

  • Conduct ongoing analysis of clients' financial health and credit risk.
  • Make recommendations for adjustments to credit limits and terms when necessary.
  • Monitor and manage any potential risks associated with client accounts.

Client Onboarding:

  • Assist new clients in the onboarding process, ensuring smooth integration with the company's

systems and procedures.

  • Educate clients on the invoice financing process and best practices.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
  • Generate and provide regular reports on client accounts, performance, and utilisation of financing

facilities.

Cross-Selling and Upselling:

  • Identify opportunities to offer additional services or products to existing clients.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote upselling and cross-selling initiatives.

Collections and Dispute Resolution:

  • Monitor and manage invoice collections and handle any disputes or discrepancies.
  • Work closely with clients and internal teams to resolve payment issues and discrepancies.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Contribute to the identification and mitigation of potential risks within the client portfolio.

Plus any other ad hoc duties that are asked of you.

The Requirements

Essential

  • 3 A Levels or above. 5 GCSEs at A to C or 9 to 4, including Maths and English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
  • Prior experience in invoice financing or financial services.

Desirable

  • Understanding of financial analysis and credit risk assessment.
  • Understanding of Financial Statements.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience of Dancerace.
