This global business is seeking a Group Programme and Delivery Director to support them on their expansion mission. The business is known for their rapid growth through considerate acquisitions, multiplying their operations and profits at pace. You will have the opportunity to work on global projects and manage individuals based overseas which will see you with the chance to jump on a plane and have face to face interactions with wider teams!
The international business has various pillars within this around the circular economy, supporting waste reduction and optimisation across businesses.
You will be supporting with new expansions and current operations to ensure the projects and transformation programmes are being delivered in a timely and accurate manner. Working within the collaborative senior leadership team to bridge the gap of delivery and governance.
Leading a small team, you will have the chance to be close to the action and work closely alongside the CIO to support with status updates, reporting, and project-based work. You will be comfortable in breaking down and reprioritising the 3-year roadmap for the business with their technology aims as you work through the programme deliverables.
You may have come from a business facing background but have strong understanding of technical teams, or come from a technical background and having strong commercial acumen
About you, the Group Programme and Delivery Director:
- You will be flexible and happy to travel on an ad hoc basis including abroad overnight stays to Europe and USA
- Experience working at Group level in a complex organisation set-up (desirable)
- Exposure working within a global organisation, particularly managing overseas team members
- Strong programme delivery experience, working closely with Projects/PMO functions to adhere to governance
- Adaptable and ready to take on the challenge with a rapid-growing fast-paced organisation who are on a mission!
About the role:
- Permanent position
- Remote based with travel to Telford, London, Europe and USA (UK office-based may be equivalent of 2x days, overseas may be on average 1x per month)
- Base salary £100,000 plus package, including car allowance, pension, holidays, health.
