Our client, a leading provider of design, manufacturing, and maintenance services for water infrastructure projects, is currently seeking a Network Analyst to join their dynamic team.

Your Role:

As a Network Analyst, you will be responsible for creating job packs, scheduling tasks, and collaborating with both field-based team members and desktop operational and technical teams to ensure work activities are completed for clients. Your daily interactions with team members, clients, and other stakeholders will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the clean water network. Using GIS mapping tools, you will compile asset investigations packs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize geographical knowledge of areas in and around the M25, using GIS mapping sources, schematics, and street view to produce detailed work packs for Field Teams to carry out various asset investigations and on-site work activities.
  • Serve as the primary contact for onsite Field Team queries, collaborating with technical and operational leads to agree on job priorities and progression support.
  • Raise Stage 1 and 2 permits to work under the guidance of Network Engineers and Project Managers, ready for approval and submission.
  • Liaise with the team and external stakeholders such as councils and client sites to arrange authorized site access and traffic management as required.
  • Proficiently manage and schedule work for Field Teams, considering resource allocations, location of technicians, and project requirements.
  • Process returning audits and update shut packs as required, including running and extending traces, identifying issues with incomplete surveys and anomalies, and working with the Technical team to agree on next steps.
  • Build client relations, attending regular project progress meetings/conference calls, providing updates to stakeholders, and conducting post-project de-briefs as required.
  • Vigilantly and accurately update all trackers, including project progress, identifying changes and blockers, and completions.
  • Track project documentation and action any outstanding administration requirements, including updating relevant master trackers and liaising with stakeholders for updates.
  • Become proficient with all company software packages, such as Jobwatch, iAuditor, Staysafe, Office365, MCM, and DropBox.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar project support role.
  • Proven experience of working within a project life cycle.
  • Proficient use of Office365 including MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Zoom.

Personal Specifications:

  • Confident communication skills via phone, email, and face-to-face.
  • Ability to effectively problem-solve.
  • Possess analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to create and present clear and detailed work plans.
  • Aptitude for logistics and an understanding of the operational needs of projects.
  • Ability to multi-task and work across multiple projects.

Employment Specifics and Package:

  • Job Title: Network Analyst
  • Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
  • Weekly Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, flexible between 8 am and 6 pm)
  • Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
  • Pension: 4% employer contribution
  • Location: Head office, hybrid working effective post successful completion of probation
  • Probation Period: 6 months from start date
