A growing business that produces innovative technological products using modern-day manufacturing techniques and supplies these to a broad range of customers globally, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this is a hands on position, whilst leading a multi-disciplined team of 15 technical members, ensuring works are completed efficiently, with machine downtime being kept to a minimum and within target expectations.
As a Maintenance Supervisor, your duties will include -
- Leading a multi-disciplined Maintenance team, including weld technicians, ensuring delivery of functional KPI's, meeting productivity, quality and cost targets
- Responsibility for investigations and disciplinary processes as required
- Responsibility for ongoing performance review and assessment appraisals for Maintenance team
- Benchmark maintenance performance and standards against internal and external parties and ensure that improvement opportunities are identified and delivered
- Responsibility for Manufacturing Maintenance support for site facilities and machinery
- Maximise the uptime through TPM schedule and reactive breakdown situations
- Efficient response to breakdowns ensuring minimum downtime
- Monitor operational efficiency of all plant and equipment, identifying areas of underperformance or opportunity and implement plans to deliver improvement
- Liaise with the Maintenance Manager and maintain control of expenditure within the budget
- Organising and administering the spares stock whilst minimising costs
- Ensure that H&S and Quality Management Systems are adhered to
To be successful in the role of Maintenance Supervisor, the ideal candidate will -
- Have a relevant Electrical/Mechanical engineering qualification (HND/HNC)
- Have line management experience in same/similar manufacturing environment
- Be experienced with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Ideally have experience with PLC automation
- Ideally have experience with ABB robotics
- Have an understanding and experience in application of a CMMS system
- Have knowledge of UK regulatory standards
- Have knowledge and application of ISO 14001, OHSAS18001, IATF 16949 standards
- Have knowledge of SAP and Mobile Maintenance
On offer -
- £51,441 per annum (£26.38 per hour)
- Paid overtime available, anything above 37.5 hours per week Monday - Sunday at 1.2x basic rate
- Annual bonus scheme - usually £2K
- Working a weekly rotating shift pattern: 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10:30pm (6:20pm Fridays)
- 28 days annual leave

Based in Coventry, this role is commutable from Rugby, Nuneaton, Royal Leamington Spa, Solihull and all surrounding areas.
