Day to Day of the role:

  • Lead the Biology department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance student performance in biology.
  • Mentor and support faculty members to foster a collaborative and high-performing team.
  • Oversee curriculum development and assessment strategies in line with educational standards.
  • Engage students with innovative teaching methods that inspire a love for the subject.
  • Analyse student data to inform teaching practices and interventions.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A deep love for biology and teaching.
  • Experience working with young people and the ability to build their dreams.
  • A positive, optimistic outlook and the drive to strive for better.
  • Energy and enthusiasm to contribute positively to our organisation.
  • Relevant teaching qualification and experience leading a department are preferred.
