Day to Day of the role:
- Lead the Biology department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning outcomes.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance student performance in biology.
- Mentor and support faculty members to foster a collaborative and high-performing team.
- Oversee curriculum development and assessment strategies in line with educational standards.
- Engage students with innovative teaching methods that inspire a love for the subject.
- Analyse student data to inform teaching practices and interventions.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A deep love for biology and teaching.
- Experience working with young people and the ability to build their dreams.
- A positive, optimistic outlook and the drive to strive for better.
- Energy and enthusiasm to contribute positively to our organisation.
- Relevant teaching qualification and experience leading a department are preferred.
