Description

The Part Time Data Protection Manager will be part of a small privacy function within the legal team. This privacy professional will support the wider business units by

  • Ensuring data privacy compliance.
  • Overseeing data protection audits and investigations.
  • Providing expert advice on data privacy laws and regulations.
  • Managing data breach incidents and reporting as required.
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining data protection policies and procedures.
  • Providing data protection training to the workforce.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on data privacy matters.
  • Reviewing and advising on data protection impact assessments.

Profile

To be successful in this role as Part time Data Protection Manager, the applicants should have:

  • Degree in Law or related field.
  • Certification in data privacy such as CIPP, CIPM, or CIPT.
  • Strong knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in data privacy impact assessments and audits.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
