Description
The Part Time Data Protection Manager will be part of a small privacy function within the legal team. This privacy professional will support the wider business units by
- Ensuring data privacy compliance.
- Overseeing data protection audits and investigations.
- Providing expert advice on data privacy laws and regulations.
- Managing data breach incidents and reporting as required.
- Developing, implementing and maintaining data protection policies and procedures.
- Providing data protection training to the workforce.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on data privacy matters.
- Reviewing and advising on data protection impact assessments.
Profile
To be successful in this role as Part time Data Protection Manager, the applicants should have:
- Degree in Law or related field.
- Certification in data privacy such as CIPP, CIPM, or CIPT.
- Strong knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in data privacy impact assessments and audits.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
