IT Risk & Control Consultant

We're looking for an aspiring IT Risk and Control consultant for a leading insurance organisation who are in the top "50 best companies to work for"!

This is a year on year growing organisation are embarking on an exciting period of development. The successful Risk and Control Consultant will be supporting the IT division with their governance and control functions, facilitating audits working with the internal team and external partners, and third area controls management.

So what does the role entail?

As the Risk and Controls Consultant, your stakeholder management skills, along with a willingness to learn will allow you to thrive in this environment. We're looking for someone with a proactive attitude to complement their understanding of IT security and risk.

The successful IT risk and controls consultant will have:

  • Exceptional stakeholder management. In this role, you will be presenting report to senior IT leaders including the Chief Information Officer
  • Knowledge or IT auditing and governance is desirable
  • Knowledge of COBIT or ISO 27001 is desirable
  • Hunger to learn

SALARY: Up to £50,000 + Benefits

BENFITS: Annual Bonus (up to 17.5% of salary), contributory pension scheme up to 20%, 25 days annual leave + bank holidays +buy/sell/save trading scheme, health and wellbeing plan, life assurance, access to a range of savings, £20 contribution to monthly gym membership, employee discount on internal insurance policies.

LOCATION: Stratford-Upon-Avon (Hybrid with 1 office day per week)

ESSENTIALS:

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in an audit environment.
  • Knowledge of IT/IT security.
  • IT Data Fundamentals.
  • Proactive attitude to learning and development.
  • Knowledge of risk management/controls.
