Central Employment are working with a scaling B2B Technology driven organisation, who offer bespoke software solutions to the Manufacturing & Engineering sectors. They are hiring a new, client facing Implementation Consultant, based from the North East but operating across the UK.

Implementation Consultant role:

This role will involve supporting software demonstrations, implementing solutions, and providing hands-on training to our valued customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of customer on-boarding and product delivery within a structured project environment.
  • Foster strong client relationships from inception, maintaining clear communication channels throughout engagements.
  • Facilitate seamless handover of clients to our support department post-implementation.
  • Demonstrate proficiency implementation processes, ensuring timely project delivery to highly satisfied customers.
  • Adhere to standardised operating procedures for successful software implementations.
  • Develop and manage customised project plans tailored to individual client needs.
  • Collaborate with the implementation manager to provide insights for sales and marketing teams.
  • Provide confident training and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential business risks.
  • Document lessons learned to drive continuous service improvements.

Experience required:

  • Demonstrable experience leading and supporting customers.
  • Experience previously working within a manufacturing environment, or coming from a manufacturing background.
  • Effective communication skills with a focus on customer management and training.
  • Proven experience in meeting and exceeding KPIs.
  • Proven experience in establishing customer centric KPIs.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple short lifecycle implementation projects.
  • Experience in managing projects from inception to completion, including defining goals, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and managing risks.
  • Familiarity with collaborative software tools
  • Ability to deliver engaging customer demos, supporting the pre-sales process.
  • You are process-oriented and are a very organised individual by nature.
