We are working with a reputable firm renowned for their specialized legal services catering to both private and commercial clients.
They are seeking a talented Solicitor to join their growing private client practice based in London.
The Private Client Department:
- The Private Client department is structured into two sections: the legal section and the tax and trust section. The legal section comprises solicitors and legal executives specializing exclusively in probate and estate administration, while the trust and tax section includes qualified and unqualified trust and tax accountants and practitioners, along with apprentices.
- These sections collaborate seamlessly to provide clients with comprehensive and integrated services.
- Currently, the department consists of 50 professionals, including partners, associates, legal executives, trust managers, accountants, support staff, and apprentices.
The Role:
- As a member of the team, you will collaborate with Partners and colleagues to offer expert advice on lifetime and testamentary tax and estate planning, trust structuring, will preparation, and various trust documentation.
- Your responsibilities will encompass advising on inheritance tax and capital gains tax matters, trust and company law, probate, and mental capacity issues.
- A solid background in Private Client work, coupled with proficiency in tax, trust, and private client law, is essential.
- Furthermore, you should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and demonstrate the ability to provide clear and concise explanations to clients.
